Donald was immediately welcomed by the Mayor of Alexandra Justice Ngidi who expressed his excitement and wish to learn more about the incredible project.
ANC member and Councilor Lindi Twala, took Donald by the hand and proudly led him through the crowded streets of onlookers.
The ANC Women's League gathered to be photographed with Donald.
Through an interpreter, Donald spoke to the hundreds that had gathered. His message was clear and to the point, focusing on art as a vehicle to empower the world.
He was given a rapturous applause and continually thanked throughout his visit.

Skipping to another part of the town, Donald appreciated the benefit of being in shape. Even so, he was still out skipped by his new found friends, much to their amusement.
Entertaining herself, a little girl compared her small fingers to Donald's whilst they had a deep and meaningful conversation, in different languages.
Donald chipped in with the real work of helping the cooks prepare the food for the swelling crowds.
And of course they all loved it.
Live entertainment was provided and enjoyed by all.
Donald, who is an avid promoter for the pursuit of excellence, simply lapped up the rich display of rhythm and dance.
Even in the harsh living conditions both young and old came together and danced as one.
Even the Elders captured the hearts and imaginations of the spectators with their powerful and highly original entertaining performances.
The crowds surrounded Donald as he prepared to leave. Waving, clapping and cheering erupted in appreciation. They were thankful that another soul cared enough to make such a journey across the waters, in the hope of furthering their cause and improve their quality of life.
As they sang and played their drums, Donald took the time to salute them and bid them all farewell.
Relaxing with the Deputy Mayor of Johannesburg, Councilor Norman Reed who insisted that "A project of this magnitude must not be overlooked. The potential is too great and we cannot afford to let this opportunity pass us by".
