The New York City Symphony Orchestra
We are proud to welcome the New York City Symphony Orchestra as one of the ensembles that will perform the Anthem for, The Healing Of Africa Monument.
The first 7,000 Founding Patrons will determine the musical composition of the Anthem. If 1,000 women become Founding Patrons before 1,000 men, then a woman will make the selection of the first note to be played. If 1,000 men become Founding Patrons before another 1,000 women become Founding Patrons, then a man will select the second note of the Anthem. This will continue until the selections of the first seven notes have been made. Please be informed that if 7,000 men become Founding Patrons before 1,000 women become Founding Patrons, then that will constitute to a clean-sweep and the men will select all seven notes. Of course this scenario can happen visa versa.
